A few more pictures...Oh...I forgot to mention that we met Dennis/Spike on Thursday afternoon. He's dropping the traps overnight since he lives close by.  We had a nice chat and definitely will try to hook up with him the next time we crabbing there.

Damn do you guys ever have fun on a saturday?  Having to work on the weekdays sucks when I see fun like that being had. Congrats you 3 for having a wonderful outing! I never thought about cooking crab over a fire like that. Vry ingenious. Did it work well? So happy that you guys got the drive unit. Flat water and good times. The best of Nor cal. Off to CL now. bye bye

I used to cook and eat crabs this way back in my country.  IMO, it tastes better grilled than boiled.  Asked Martin or Dave if you don't believe me.  It's their first time eating grilled crabs and they love it!  Give it a try next time.

Another event with the crew that I missed...now I am on probation with these guys and they aren't returning my calls....

Wow...I wondered too how cooking crabs over an open fire would turn out.. got to try it out..

so did you guys run into any perch or other baitfish near harbor opening?

I thought Pam was going to join you Dave.

3 meals a  day with crab....thats awesome.

yep like Yakuza said....we are completely oblivious to the fact that the rest of the country is getting pounded by winter....
time for me to get on the water..

We tried trolling around with the Sabiki tipped with squid for nada.  Got a lot of missing calls lately and my phone occasionally turns off by itself!  Maybe it's time for a new phone.  Check your PM Dave.

That looks like A Good Time!

The mattress looks extra-cushy.  I need one of those.

Eric,
Costco has the mattresses.  They fold in thirds and are made of high density foam and fit perfectly in the back of my Outback.  I don't remember what I paid for it, but it was reasonable.
