2011 Pay It Forward Paddle on 6/25/11

Really bummed that I can't make this year's PIFP.  It's my karate club's annual summer camp that weekend so I'll be up at Bear River hoping to catch a trout in between training. (I'd skip out but since I'm the instructor they'd probably notice my absence)  I know you guys will have a blast tho and I'll be looking forward to the after-party reports!

Will post this for the Central Coast guys to see if any can make it.

We've decided that the course needed to be a bit simpler and easier for people that aren't familiar with paddling in Monterey and use visual landmarks to help guide the course. 

Kayaks will be launched beginning at 10:00AM at the Municipal beach behind Monterey Bay Kayaks

Please find Sledge at the sign in table for the signup beginning at 9:00AM!

There is a 10$ fee for ALL day parking, or you can pay hourly if your only going to be there for the afternoon festivities.

Course Outline:

Launch At MBK 
Paddle up Cannery Row 
Paddle over to the Red Buoy
Chill, Fish, Water fight, Etc
Paddle back to MBK by 1PM for Pot Luck!
BTW It's BYOB And be sure to bring your water gun   

Be SURE to watch out for Boat Traffic!!!
