Maybe 5 short of their 30 limit. Unluckily for me, the weather turned sour when I caught up with them. So I had to leave with the guys and come back early Sunday AM. PelYaker offered to give me some but just want them to enjoy their haul for themselves since we had our fill last year.

Let's see what I get tomorrow AM if my rigs are still there or if no one beats me to it.

Nice meeting all of you: PelYaker, Shaun and Alice. Shaun, time for you to become an NCKA rocker just like Phong.

Shellback, how you doin? We should go out there again. Today was my first time out for the year and thought HMB would be a good start. Let's see if tomorrow proves it.

It was a rush one. PelYaker was just asking a few pointers and then all of a sudden he was out that Friday night and Saturday AM so I just decided to join Saturday 11am.

Let's do it again.

I'm doing good bro, I hope the new year has been good to you so far. Just post up in the hook-ups section or send me a PM and we can get together and pull some traps! Let us know how it goes for you!

Came back Sunday 6:20am and waited till sunrise at 7:16 as the conditions were terrible. Had to be back home around 9am so I had to make a decision. Go and pull the traps or just leave it there till whenever. So it was a now or never for me.

Decided to launch at 7:20. Reached first drop point and to my surprise, the 1st trap was empty except for the cat food cans. No chicken bones, no salmon head bones, no nothing.  Paddled to 2nd drop point and wished it was different but same scenario.

What can I say except that I got a good exercise. I paddled back like crazy with no stopping and reached the launch (Half Moon Bay Yatch Club) at 8:35, was on the road at 8:45 and home at 9:20. Dressed up for church (wife got all my clothes ready) and arrived church at 9:50am. All day adrenaline rush.

Now, it's siesta time and I'm having a good back rub/massage from my lovely wife.

ShellBack, Darius, let's schedule a hookup for a next trip. You didn't lose  nothing on this unplanned trip except a good exercise and time OTW.

Daniel, thanks for the kind words. I know you would have done the same thing, so with the rest of the NCKA brotherhood. That's why NCKA rocks.

Hey Danny,

Did you guys stay over at Pillar Point? Next time you guys do, let me know; may I'll come join you. If the weather favorable, we (me & some CSFC buddies) usually dry camp in the parking lot up top...

Hopefully I'll be done with my yak by then so I can paddle with you guys.... but either way, I'd be down for a weekend trip to HMB...

G-Whiz,

PelYaker and his two other buddies came Friday night but did not stay over. Went back home to San Leandro then came back early morning. I came in late due to late working hours Friday night and when you saw me, I was just dropping my first trap.
We can stay over next time. We usually do this with ShellBack, Bink, Chaeki, Nudling. Lapulapu, Darius and few other guys.
We'll post a hook up and camp out just like you said.
Till then.
