Who cares!

I'm not one to let a few rain showers dampen my day,

 but, if it is significant,,, it will muddy the water, and be a real pain for those just trying this sport for the first time...

  Not going to drag these warriors out there who are having a tough time anyway,

 to sit out in the rain on a kayak, just not the best way for a first outing...

 but lets just see what happens next week

  How does one pass Quagga Muscle inspection in the rain?

We'll make the decision on Monday, maybe even Sunday if there is enough intel, as it's going to be tough for me to get the word out next week about postponing this event...

If we have to cancel, we have to cancel. I am also trying to spend two days at my property in Butte County that week. I Should have known better.

If this storm pans out as it is looking...

The High pressure gets knocked out this weekend and were in line for several systems all next week...

it does not look as though there is anything out there that would change this forcast...

If it is just on and off showers next week,

we should go forward...

if we have heavy rainfall... postpone

 Almost a insult to these Men and Women who have been in much... much...  worse than a little rain...

Unless it's a Typhoon, were on!!!

I went out there today for a little recon,  looks like the area where we launched last time is the " Hot Spot..." might even have to rope off a area for us to launch!!!

and a little weather would be welcome as to keep some of these pikers off our beach!!!

Fishing was slow out there and any fish caught were caught here...

not sure what everyone is expecting to use to catch fish,

Yule "o" powerbait is probably the ticket, with a dash of worm...

we should have a power cord like last time so we could have coffee...
  still working on that...

Oh ya... and there should be a plant next week...

 Heaviest part of this system hits Tuesday, and then intermittent showers...

  It looks like COLD showers    for Friday,  Possible snow on the eastbay hills,

   We can do this... 

 Build a fire in the Big BQ pit,  and we'll use the other small grills for cooking the man dogs

Kayakjack, I think were going to need your pup shelter...

I think we'll string up some tarps too,  maybe some Hescos!!!

  We'll secure that point...   

Don You know if the vet are up to the rain, even if it's scattered rain?  Also, I could bring my Canopy Car Tent if needed?
