after cleaning cleaning 4 buckets of herring for the smoker/pickling, i ended up with 6 cups of roe. Now if it takes a 5 gal bucket of fish to make 1 1/2 cups of this stuff its gotta be something special. I just dont know what to do with it (I dont fish Stugeon, so forget about any bait replies). Anyone got a traditional Japanese recipe.

my Mother used to love the eggs.  It was attached to seaweed, so I assume post spawn?
