Goodlucks guys. Would love to join you guys but got to work on weekends!  I would launch from First Street if I were you and save the "extra" paddling time for fishing  :smt001

If you're headed to the MBF you can launch right under the (new) bridge on the Benicia side, there is a public fishing access and a parking area, if you're careful you can squeeze past the tracks drive right down to the water for launching.

Downside might be a mud bath getting in or out but it'll save a hell of allot of paddling compared to a first st launch.
