I can't stand it anymore, I am going to Shasta Lake Saturday 01-15-2011 to test out my new kayak.  I am thinking of hitting the dam for trout and salmon, and doing some bass fishing up dry creek.

I want to get some minnows at Phils Prop Shop.  I believe they open around 9:00 am, so that would be a great meeting place and time!  It is too cold to meet much earlier anyways!

Anyone who wants to come along is welcome!  The weather report says a very slight chance of rain, and partly cloudy.  I will be dressing warm and bringing my rain gear just in case.  Should be good trout fishing.  All reports say the trout are biting from the surface to 25 ft, on shad style baits.

Getting the new Adventurer out for the maiden voyage?  Wish I could join ya but i'm loading up the family and heading to Disneyland for a long weekend.  Good bet on the trout/salmon, I've heard they're hitting good too.  Stay warm & tight lines.

It looks like the weather will be great for us!  I am getting excited.  We can go over our super secret GMSV team tricks!

I am loading new line on my trolling rod and spinning rod, and getting my lures organized.  It should be a great time.  Even with the tournament, around the dam should be fine.

All the fishing reports are rating the trout fishing as very good right now.  Maybe Tad can get a rematch with his salmon!
