Howdy All...   :smt006

Well after a " Forced Vacaction " from a computer crash ( still in computer Hell ), wet/cold weather, Holidays and slight Burnout...

I'm ready to get this machine moving again... what I want to try is a smaller event as not to go too crazy, have lots of people and resources coming, and get really foul weather... so,

I have contact info for many wounded warriors, so we don't need the VA or WTU to bring us people or wait for their arrival. We will contact our participants for this smaller event ourselves and we/I will work out logistics etc...

This will be a smaller event of about 12 or so, Del Valle? maybe, heard the trout have been biting...  maybe be able to use Sunrise fleet, but with only 12 participants, we could come up with yaks etc for that. I could also work on EBRP officials again, but as I said, I want to try and keep this one simple with a earlier start time and simple lunch.... have to start another response.. computer trouble here!!!!!  :smt013

Man, this computer thing is Frustrating!!!!!    :smt013    anyway,

Thanks KayakJack for all your hard work, you have been and continue to be

  " The Man!!! "...   :cook

What I want to do for this one is a simpler lunch and maybe use the " New " volunteers ( people who responded to the news article and do not kayakfish, just want to help ) we have to work that out or help out with the food portion while we use ourselves to get the wounded warriors out on the water with a more emphasis on CATCHING A FISH!!!    :smt012

That's all for now and will get things up and running soon.....

Hey Don,

I'd like to help out too, let me know when it is, but I should be available, plus I have a couple of yaks and fishing gear to use as well.

I'm probably dreaming in keeping this to a smaller event...

and that is not such a bad thing, it's great that so many want to help out and participate, it's just more complicated, and again I would hate to be rained out or worse...

we will pick a date soon and see what we come up with. I would like a weekday, but being winter, we could get away with a weekend on this one.

I will gladly help out again Don. I have 2 yaks now set up to fish.

Brian, we can carpool if you like. That would help us both out as you well know.

Please keep us posted on the Date, if you happen thinking by Feb I would suggest San Pablo Dam Reservoir, they have a good trout action specially the water level is higher, plus Spotted and Large Mouth Bass, will begin spawning that area just my 2 cents..Thanks

Hey  Don,  I'd be glad to help out also. I can get just about any day off if I have a week's notice of the date. San pablo reservoir would be a lot more convienent for me but I'm game either way.
