Took my dive board and left the yak at home. Rey picked me and kris up at around nine thirty.as we entered pebble beach the sun was shinig!the water looked promising and flat. We pulled up to meet Alain and Sara already suited up and ready for action.I was debaiting wether or not to suit up,the beach was just too nice.I was thinking of just chilling with Rey on the beach. The water looked dirty and I could only go out so far. Kicked off the beach around fifty yards and started my dive. On my first decend I land on a great big greenling. Was too excited and not ready for the shot so he slipped away. I haven't been in the water in over month!! After getting comfortable started hinting the holes with a flashlight. By the way that's the key!! Found a nice fat grassie and black n yellow sharing the same hole. Took a shot for the grassie but the black and yellow got in the way. Stupid fish!

After a few more dives in the same hole the grassie finnaly showed himself! He was fat! The biggest I've come face to face with! He turns broadside and I let my steel fly! Whack!!! Side shot shit there he goes deep into the crevice!!! I dove many more times trying to coax him out to mo avail. Decided to bust out my mini carbon and go for a second shot! He was probably in the hole four feet. After many attemts with the light I finnaly see the fish. Eye starring right at me. I pull out the little pistollero and take aim. Whack!!!! Right in the eye! I plyed him out pulling on both shafts simoutaineously. Kind of felt like using two giant chopsticks! He was the biggest fish I've speared so far!!! Not as big as he looked underwater but I was still stoked, for I really worked for him! Shot his identical brother a few rocks away. Ended the day with three fish! Vis was really bad and the wind kicked up. Kicked back to the beach and chilled with the coolest crew! We cooked like it was the end of the world!! At the feast the following were present: alshobie outback,Sara,Rick,Alameda,His buddie,LapuLapu,Kristopher,Sincoast,And Mosca!!! what a day!
