Rain or Shine it's on.

I'll be setting 3 pots from my Kayak at 7am on Saturday, others will be setting pots on Friday.

I'll be freediving for trash and a crab grab from about 9am till 11am.

It's a $6 day use to get into the Bodega Bay's Doran Beach - Sonoma County Regional Park.

From 11am on it will be a pot luck and crab feed.

We'll have elk chili and plenty of crab!

Other details:

2nd Annual Doran Jetty Clean-Up
March 5, 2011
8:30-12
We will have the B.B.Q.s hot and a cool-chest full of water and sodas.
Bring something to share at the potluck.  We'll dive from 9 to 11 or so while the water is slackest.
If there are still crab in the bay, pots will be out before the clean-up and crab cooked for eating after the clean-up.
Last year we found more than 50 crab nets, lots of rope and a sail from a sailboard, oh yes and 13 nice size crabs, delicious!
Meet at 8:30 at the very last parking lot beyond the boat ramp at Doran.
Any non-diving volunteers for staying on shore and helping with the potluck are welcomed.

A email from NorCal Skin Divers:

From: John Morozumi's Email

( I just heard from John Wall, Sonoma County Parks volunteer coordinator.
( The entrance fee for Doran Park is waived for our jetty cleanup.
( At the entrance kiosk, tell them you are there for the cleanup, you will be let in free.

Weather in Doran right now is awesome, tomorrow should be the same.!
