Fish that have been working in one spot for at least 10 days are now finally coming into full view as the visibility increases and the flow decreases.  The dark broom-tail is a 20 pound class, and so is the lighter one that hangs out on the far side.  Upstream I found what I think was the massive one that splashed through the lower area last week.  It's with a 20-pound class digger in a nice redd. 

It's near primetime on this little creek, and it's been a good year.   :smt001

That's how they make the nest as well as creating cover for themselves as they deal with the current, and later they do some additional digging to cover the completed redd.
