Sturgeon fishing in Suisun Bay 12/31 (pictures added)

I though I was done with fishing this year after yesterday yak fishing in Benicia    Was watching "The end of the line" on Netflix then the phone ring.  My friend on the other line said: "we're going Sturgeon fishing, are you coming with us"?  I told him I'll check my WAF points then call him right back.  Ran up stairs and talked (read begging) to my wife   Grabbed the fishing gears and out of the house in less than 15 minutes.  We found a great spot where Sturgeon are stacking on the bottom on the fish finder but couldn't buy a bite!  Fished til 11:30pm and watched the fireworks on the way back to the dock.  No Sturgeon for me this year but you can't say that I didn't try    Happy New Year everyone!!!

Sonny,  Amazing effort!  Maybe we can get out there and get 'em next week.  Is the rain ever going to stop?  I can fish any day except Tuesday.  I'm still a "Sturgeon Virgin" and need to get that fixed.

Sonny, mid January we should try OAP. My first ever kayak sturgeon was caught there at time. I hope it repeats for 2011.

I thought you caught your Sturgeon last yeat at Black Point...

My first ever sturgeon caught on my yak was at OAP in 2009 Sonny. I had the Outback then and it was in January. The last year sturgeon was at BP during March.
