New Melones New Years?

Last minute today, Sara says she thinks we should get out for the weekend and do some fishing together    Could be ready to hit the road by about 7 or so tonight for any destination within 4 or so hours from home.  I'm still packed from CL    Or we could pick a place for a day trip tomorrow as well, but probably not as far of a distance.

Question is....Where do we go?

After much deliberation I've decided that we will probably be headding to New Melones for the weekend    Company welcome!

al i might be able to sneak up there one of the days this weekend, when you planning to be there? saturday?  where ya gonna launch?

We may head up tonight or tomorrow morning, and stay until Sunday!    Waiting for Sara to get off work to figure out when we are leaving.  Pretty much thinking Gloryhole since thats where we will be camped.  Might go over to the main ramp though instead if the creeks look too muddy.  Getting prepped now! 

You know it might snow right? I'm not going, but don't be surprised if you see a hung over me on New Years day.

sounds a little bit cold to be camping! if i show up it will be late on sat or sometime sunday.  i would like to start off 2011 on the right foot fishing wise, even though i'll be fishing much much less overall.
