a friend is coming to town and wants to go out. We may go do a 'look-see' at the conditions this afternoon. Maybe see you there.

My friend and I went and took a look at it yesterday mid afternoon...muddy, sloppy, disorganized, windy and all the commercial boats were bouyed up.  We were glad we chose to wait for another day. :) Maybe tomorrow? Wednesday?

today a different ocean
looked at Trinidad harbor

at 3:45 and all the commercial boats were out, a few returning with their catches, water looked much more receptive to paddling.  this Swell forecast

looks like tomorrow (12/28) might worthy of a look see, possible kayak crabbing, in the morning.

I went out this morning (12-28), just to empty my overnight pot .... it was a challenging morning with confused seas, lots of wind, and sideways rain.

I was on the water less than 45 minutes but got three nice 7” crab off an overnight soak near Prisoner Rock.

The next few days look nasty but I’ll probably head back out later in the week.

Right on, Topher!  WTG on the jumbus, and welcome to the board.  Cool that we met in person before you showed up here - that's actually rare!   :smt005
