I see how this is going to go........
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

Wind dominated the outdoor landscape today, and the strong, cold gusts on land made me think the ocean must be a horrid place right then.   :smt009

I knew it would be so though, as I'd read the forecast and seen report of early whitecaps this morning at the Cove.  The beauty of today's harsh conditions is that this is the forecast for the end of the week:

.THU...NW WIND 10 TO 20 KT. WIND WAVES 2 TO 4 FT. NW SWELL 5 TO 7 FT.  (not bad if the wind doesn't turn on)
.FRI...NW WIND 5 TO 15 KT. WIND WAVES 3 FT. NW SWELL 7 TO 9 FT.  (a little high, but likely fishable)
.SAT...SW WIND 5 TO 10 KT. WIND WAVES 1 FOOT OR LESS. NW SWELL 6 TO 8 FT. CHANCE OF SHOWERS.   (this is a very nice forecast because the NW swell does get knocked down by the Cape and 5-10 knot winds will allow much more access outside)

From what I've seen, Thursday evening could be flat and a possible nice dive opportunity.  Friday morning may have some glass, but it looks to pickup a bit that day and into Saturday morning.  Saturday afternoon could be the return to glass, and by Sunday morning I predict very nice water.  Let's hope it all comes out like it looks to.   :smt001

I'm crossing my fingers. Thanks for keeping us informed.

I can't think of anything else right now. I'm driving myself crazy thinking about the cove.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.

You're right, Pat, that that forecast can equal rough and windy, but it can also be fishable.  Last Friday was a similar forecast, and while it was a bit sloppy, it was fishable for hours outside.  I can't believe I only caught a shaker - I think I've been too shallow with my DeepSix...  Anyway, self-pity aside, I think there will be salmon trollable water Friday at some point.   :smt001

Sonny I forgot what time should I stop by at your house? I am going to pass by the Farmers Market to buy the Balot..(EGG with EMBRYO)
darius... when I saw this I didn't know which Loose Screw your were driving up with but I thought at first it was Jedmo and immedialtely thought "oh No " I hope they won't be eating Balot....
funny when I saw your post..
I can' t talk  I eat "stinky tofu" which is fermented tofu... smells like doo-doo then make your your real doo-doo smell even worse...but I digress..

see you up there..

side question... I got to replace my salmon spoons' treble hook with single barbless..any ideas... cut the treble hook or the ring that attaches it to the spoon..????
if I do cut the hook then I will be adding barbless hook via a split ring onto another ring...will that be funky???

Hey Darius, go to the market and buy a Lingcod.  Later tonight, rub the Lingcod all over her then maybe you can have some... :smt044
