This is serious shit!  I don't want to jinx us or get anyone's hopes up early, but I'm starting to get long range pictures of conditions for the tournament.  Next Wednesday the ocean is forecast to be down - let's hope that trend lasts, and I'll update here each day with what the long term forecast says.  Cross your F#*(ing fingers!!!!   :smt005

So I recently found out that I WILL be able to attend GS5!  I'll be leaving from Concord at 0800 on Saturday the 14th.  Here is my situation.  Since I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to make it until a few days ago, I never booked a campsite.  Does anyone have a campsite they want to split with me?  I need somewhere to crash!  I know this is pretty last minute, I'm just stoked to be able to go!  I'll be bringing the usual camping gear as well as the full compliment of dive and yakfishing gear.  Any takers?

For all the NCKA will be grouped assign campsite and charge us 20 bucks a night per person, I just called yesterday and confirmed that!!

Yeah, Jeff, the group area they're giving us is $20 per person per night - it's worth it for the unlimited space within that area...  The option is reserviing a normal size site - they're small and it's hard for more than a couple to inhabit one - that's why the owner wanted to just give us a huge block of space and a gear cleaning/drying area as well as group area and fire wood (I think/hope).

The longest stormsurf window right now is showing a great trend starting just after midnight Thursday the 12th...  Keeping fingers crossed.   :smt007
