See ya down there. Just one question though  since I haven't fished for salmon in  a long time. What is the best method they are using for catching salmon out there? I am thinking about getting 20 specra line and using either a slinding sinker or drop sinker rig trolling or mooching anchovies.

I'll be trying a #40 diving plan to a large UV sling blade to a white/pink UV full size hoochie tipped with "something".  What that something should be I would also be curious.  I am tempted to try corn since the land locked Kings love to gobble it up, but suspect that a small strip of sardine / chovy might be a better call.  Maybe corn on the inner hook and the sardine strip on the back trailer hook?

Thanks Eric that videos is great for hooking up the chovies!  Your trolling set up is pretty much exactly what I will be using, so thats a bit of comfort knowing I have at least the right gear behind me! 

I don't know if anyone else realized this, but today is Friday the 13th.....scary.....

Now I'm ready to roll! Can't wait to get up there on Sat. Sure is going to get lonely on the post with everyone either all ready there or on their way up.

Damn all this fuzz about GS5..I couldn't sleep its my first sleepless night since i was caught banging my best friends GF I had to take Ativan to get knockout and f**k 2x to make sure Im exhausted..I am 60% Packed...

I am hoping to get on the road about then also. Driving a big black chevy pulling a pop-up trailer with zodiak and kayak. You won't be able to miss us.

Truck's packed, a few groceries to get...  Just got word from work that turmoil and conflict are brewing.  Sounds like they're SOL until at least next Wednesday!   

We're out of here. I hope to be there by 7 or 8. GS5 here we come.

was really painful as i left lake mendo this afternoon, after fishing this morning with a couple of guys heading to the cove, and headed south, and then seeing all the kayaks heading north, have a great time guys, cameron
