You will need wheels or a partner you have to walk your kayak down to the rental boat dock and launch, doable but kind of a pain.

just like he said.
I took my son (12) and daughter (9) there a few months back.  Easy launch.  (unload your boat, pay the fee, park your car up the hill, and walk back to launch (only minutes away)).

I skunked, but I hear it's not difficult getting crappie/bluegills, trout.  When we got back to the launch, there were a couple of kids working the launch area for bass.

thanks for all the info fellas! hopefully i'll bump into u guys or we can possibly make a trip out there. pre-spawn for bass is usually pretty good there in early to mid march. i heard trout fishing is usually on fire right now.

You can park(loading&unloading zone) right next to the ramp that is designed for kayak launching(the one on the left side if looking out towards the water) NO WHEELS NEEDED.
it is the smallest pond in the EastBayParks.... that costs to park, launch, mussel inspection&fishing permit. There are big bass in there, but they are VERY smart. The trout dont chase lures(at least not the ones i drag)
Good luck!!

Like FisHunter said, it's an easy launch without wheels. Just ask 'em where to go when you pay your money. I was there two weeks ago and caught a couple on Power Bait in the south end. Trolled a couple hours for nada. Evidently it had been a pretty hot trout bite a few days before (natch! "ya shoulda been here yesterday!").

The launch must have change since I was there last about two to three years ago. Its nice to see there making it easier for the kayaks.
