I need to harvest crab for thanksgiving. i am planning on taking my next door neighbor out with me. We will arrive in the a.m. bait and set the pots. We are gonna bring a weber and cook-up some food and hang-out at the pic-nic area while the pots soak. i will probably bring my crab-cooker so we can boil-em up and get em on ice right away.
I may also re-bait and leave my pots overnight and pick-em up or re-bait em on thurs. Thursday and friday's forecasts look fantastic. wednesday's forecast is 10-20kt wind 5-7' swell.

I am going to try to be there. It will be closer to noon for me if I can make it. Plan B is early Thursday while the bird is smoking.

Already mentally preparing my co-worker for my early departure on Wed, as well as getting a head start on Turkey day by buying and chopping shit now, as to ease the minds of those left on the home-front.  I'd sure like to get some quality hang out time time on Wed with a possible scramble back Thur morning.

My wife and I will be at the campground Wed and Thurs (longer if I can find a site for Fri/Sat). We're supposed to be in site 119, but that may change. Small Winnebago Minnie.
I'll also have a propane burner/pot if anyone wants to cook their crabs.
Hope to see you there and Happy Thanksgiving to all, Jim
