Sledge was saw-less, but Paul Bunyan...err...Brian G stepped in with his trusty chainsaws yesterday morning before heading off to the Big Game. Really happy to get the stump minimized. Periodic drizzle; no rain at the time. Thanks, Brian.

Now the real fun begins with all the stumps. When we bought our house I ended up having rip out 28 of them, some that were 10" up to 36". Talk about a work out... who needs the gym.

I wished I could of used a stump grinder but all the landscaped areas in my backyard where the stumps were are full of a mixture of rocks from cobble up to river rock size. That would of equaled some broken windows and pissed off neighbors.

Didn't think of that. Thanks, Mike. No rocks in my yard. Bagging the debris, though, will take a while. Can't put the oleander in the yard waste container because it's poisonous...trash company doesn't want to turn oleander into mulch.

Glad I was able to help. I was happy that the rain held off for us. We can tackle those stumps with a splitting maul when you're ready.
