no fish, no hits. on the water before the sun showed, off by 9:20.

towed a hookless diving plug as my diver/attractor with a threaded half night crawler 18" behind.
4lb low vis green mono.

followed the shoreline, snagged once but got free. went fast, went slow, zig-zagged.

the water is getting clearer, but still quite stained. visibility maybe 2 or 3 feet.

I actually thought I had a shot at something this morning.  :smt010

need to call kickfish the lexington master and get some advice for next time.

mol, no can fish this weekend. kids bdays and surf buds that depend on me,  :smt004.

I will be there wednesday morn. too early for your traffic, but if you leave your house at 9:05,
you should miss most of the traffic and you'll have none going back if you skedadle before 2.
we might be able to high five it as I land and you launch,   :smt006

Pfft!

I can be there whenever.  What time do you want to launch Wednesday?

Name it and I am there.

FWIW, I drove by the Lexington this afternoon about 4:00 and noticed sizeable ripples on both sides of the 17.  Perhaps you should give it a try late in the day?

Mol, you are crazy.  :smt003 that traffic is GNAR!  :smt009
It'll put you off the fishing before you get started again.
If you want to get fishing again, you
need to pick something where the travel is easy and you'll get out there and do it.
I would feel guilty putting you through that traffic for a freezing cold skunk, I can't do it.
You could probably take 152(6?) to Anderson lake pretty easily, not sure. That
might be a better choice logistically? traffic should be light for you.

whole reason I am doing the lexington dawn pa-troll there is because it fits my schedule and
where I live. so far it is skunk-o-rama, but hopefully I will be the one to announce it is fishable,
and worth the drive for others. but ken kickfish has his finger on the pulse of that lake.

I might fish sunday afternoon, launch around 1:30. 50% chance of that.

mol, 50% chance. I did get out this afternoon for nada, which takes some of the
fishing jones off.  If I go I'll arrive just after 7 and aim to return to the ramp just
2 hours later. all the time I have.
