Here are the details as promised:  Meet at 10:00 PM in the parking lot above HMBK.  Wheel kayaks down to HMBK and launch at around 11:00 PM out of HMBK.  Make sure to have some form of lighting.  Return to launch and either sleep in cars or return at 6:30 AM Thursday morning.  Pull traps full of crabs, return home, cook and pig out on crabs for Thanksgiving.

Due to the weather change I'm gonna be heading to HMB earlier, hopefully getting there by 3pm. I don't have the enough gear to keep me warm in the big blue with the drastic temp drop. I will be joining you guys the next morning 6:30am thanksgiving day to pull up my pots tho  :smt002 Good luck fellas...and be safe out there!

Michael,

I like the optimism and that's what I am expecting.
See ya at 10pm.
I'll be sleeping in my Mazda truck.
BTW, I have one extra light but user would need a 12V battery supply.

Woke up at 6am this morning to find my windshield frozen and the car outside temp was 37 degrees.  I am thinking to myself... am I going to have to wear my full wetsuit, with bells and whistles to keep warm or what... lol

Dropping pots for an overnight soak will yeild ALOT more crabs. Make sure EVERYBODY has lighting on thier yak! It already A high traffic area with a tight opening. I know it will be at night. Also remember that alot of commercial crabbers will be trying to load up for T-Day, and they might be out til dark. They also use auto piolet while they are working on there boat; NEVER assume that a P/B see's you! With that GOOD LUCK and may you limit out on jumbo's!!!!

Thanks for the heads up Snapperhead. Hoping to have some fun with the brotherhood inspite of the chilling weather.

Thinking just like you but wondering if it will be too heavy an outfit but will bring it anyways.

I'm still waiting for my first kayak crab. I'm itch'n to go but I hope for good conditions.
I remember surfing in winter.  4mm wetsuit minimum.  Hands ache with no gloves (frozen).
I think that if I'm in a kayak I would like to be sitting in the sun vs. the cold of darkness.
Hands and face hurt when frozen so surf or fishing gloves are a must.
