I tried selling this ($800+ retail) drysuit in April for $500 without any bites.   If any NCKAer could use it, call me at 818-970-2392 or contact me via PM for a heck of a deal on an amazing drysuit.  Best suited for anglers inthe 235 # range or heavier.

OS Systems Kayak Fishing Dry Suit.  Brand New XL with relief zipper (fly)-unused-w/warranty for $500.00-Charcoal color w/black thigh and butt plates.  Internal suspenders/attached booties....brochure link at bottom of page, please contact me directly at 707-874-9385 or via email with questions.

I originally got this for myself so I had the relief zipper installed, an option on the standard (non-custom) suit.  In the process, I lost 30# and now wear the large size.  The retail price of this suit is $630.00, $810.00 with the relief zipper.  Normally, I wouldn't be able to offer this online, especially new with such a deep discount, but without dealers in Nor Cal, the manufacturer gave his OK.  I should add that OSS has dedicated a lot of effort to bring the kayak angler section a specialty dry suit.  They've been manufacturing dry suits here in the USA since 1983.

I started using the Kokatat paddle wear and OS Systems Dry Suits last Fall.  These 2 companies offerings represent the next generation after neoprene. The difference over a lifetime of neoprene for me is not only an incredible improvement in comfort and fishability, gearing up "drier" has extended both the fishing day and the season dramatically.

I like this drysuit for kayak fishing and just tuck-in the top half when the weather warms or conditions clean up.  The swell picked up with the wind Saturday and a normally short paddle lasted about 2.5 hours back to the beach.  Suiting up my upper body added measurable comfort and protection paddling in...  but especially if I woulda ended up in the water.  If you lobster and crab too, this suit is a slam dunk.  The thighs and butt are panneled with a cordura-like material and great for dropping pots, nets and big slimey halibuts right in your lap.  Cold nights or days= longjohns/sweats and wool socks.  There are a number of specialty under layer garments out there too.

I appreciate the OS Systems suit is a specialty accessory lacking a strong attraction for anglers on a budget.  On the other hand, the Kokatat line of tops and bottoms is affordable for most and will equally add a new dimension to the sport.

Thanks for reading and for those who don't know, I have a kayak fishing business that when appropriate, allows me to offer readers here some deals.

This suit is an XL.  Refer to the size chart at www.ossystems.com
Shark Shields-I still have a Pro-Staff Deal for NCKA members that will only be extended another 5 weeks.

Thanks All,
There are only 8 units left on the NCKA deal at $600 each plus tax.  That's a $100 discount per unit.  I've been advised that this is the last deal I'll be offering on Shark Shields for some time (like until they catch on) and that may be awhile.

There's been lots of interest in the product and questions about the technology, I appreciate all the contacts.  Personally, while divers like it and to me, it makes sense for surfers (boogie boarders) who soak in that zone alot, I really think Shark Shield is best suited for kayak fishing where we appreciate a larger coastal range.  I'm happy to field inquiries anytime.
