I still can hardly believe it as well!
The parade will be awesome, with some great weather for it too!
Wish I could go, although television coverage will probably be the better seat. (as usual :smt003)

That was a great series. G's showed their dominance from game one. Straight up shut down Lee!! Lincecum annihilated in Game 5 (Although I think he should have pitched out the game it was awesome to see). Couldn't be prouder of my home team! I :smt049 SF

I've been watching it all on TV since 11am and the celebration is still on air on at 2pm.  This has to be the city's proudest moment of all time.  I regret not going and being a part of the madness.  It's history!

I'm not a fan of organized sports, (except MMA and UFC), but the feel of victory is contageous.

I have to wonder, though, how can they be called world champions when no other country is invited to play?

I'm with you Eric.
While not really a sports fan, I've really enjoyed seeing the happiness that this world series brought about in my section of the Bay Area. The celebration/anxiety cut across all boundaries.
Truly a great performance from a group of guys that really tried their best.

A friend of mine's wife sat across from Lincecum on a plane last year. She kept saying what a friendly. low key guy he was. She didn't know him, and when she asked him what he did for a living he just said "oh, I'm on a baseball team". He probably couldn't get away with that now!

In the few games I've attended I was only able to see the players from a distance, not in the same vicinity to every day items which would help develop a sizing perspective.  So seeing these guys on Market Street in cable cars gives a whole nother perspective on their physical proportions.  Timmy L has an over developed fiddler crab-ish forearm.  Wilson has pretty thick shoulders.  MadBum is like 8 feet tall or some ridiculous height.  Posey looks like he's 12 yo.  And Panda is truly PHAT lol.  Hope he lays off the extra helpings of bamboo in the off season.  A truly motley crew that came together and BBQ'd some Texas @$$

His mother, Becky Asis, might be a part of the reason behind Tim's unassuming manner and humble nature.

A second-generation Filipino-American, Becky is one of Balleriano and Philomena Asis' 10 children—eight girls, and two boys.

Balleriano was born in Honolulu, Hi., his father Genaro Asis was born in Mindanao, Philippines; his mother Alberta Alcoy was born in Cebu City, Philippines.

Philomena was born in Stockton, Calif., her father Leoncio Marcigan was born in Batangas, Philippines; her mother Anustasia Dominguez was born in Siquijor, Philippines.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

You can bet all Filipinos all over the Bay Area and the world are proud.  I know it's been said here before, and if it helps his pitching, I'll say it again here.  :smt003
