I went to Outdoor Pro Shops in Oakland today and [yesterday] they got their shipment of the Collapsible crab traps (Promar 102's) with the DFG required escape rings.  $20.  Im getting excited.....Nov 6!!!

Wife actually likes crab more than fish.  I have 2 of those traps but I might pick up the collapsible ambush ones to give it a try.

Saw some at the RP store on Friday too. Those traps really work well.

I have a couple of the round Promars, but thinking about picking up  at least one more.   Im in between either that rectangular promar or just the older style non collapsible ones (which they didnt have in stock in RP yesterday).
