10/13 Port of Sac. eve.

Going to hit the Port at about 4pm on Wed.
Anyone wanna chase some stripes?

Id like to troll a gallon sized bucket of draino....leaves a nice trail of floating keepers behind the yak . Jk

Def gonna troll some chart/orange/silver yozuris.  My buddy did pretty good on 1 oz kastmasters.  With all that bait fish, anything mimicking a minnow should be good.  Gonna bring some jigs too.

Need me some stripe, since I got snubbed by the WSB in Monterey!

Where do you launch at?  I searched for a location, but all I found was a reference to a barge canal.  That is not on Google maps.  I might be able to make it, afterall, that is the kind of stuff I got the kayak for!

Looks like I'll be getting there at about 4:15 or so.
I'll just get OTW and fish the locks area right by the launch until more show up.

BTW - I'll be paddling a sand colored sit-in-kayak

I got a meeting til 4 but should be out there around 445 or so.  Ill catch up with everyone...like exibita said "i got the fins"

Okay - more specifically, full report after I'm done eating this...

I wasn't planning on cooking tonight - but I hate to disappoint novofish so I did muster up (iron chef style) a little white wine and brown butter garlic sauce with some fresh thyme.  Nothing better than fresh stripes.
