It was like a lake -- flat, no wind, clouds, cool -- I'm still catching (and releasing) short halibut,   :smt009 but they're getting bigger.  I caught (and released) two fish - 19" and 21" -- close but still not keep-able -- Urban fishing for sure.  It's raining down here today so this was yesterday evening before the rain moved in.  :smt006

Glad to hear that you got some fishing in before the rain. Although the butts have been shy of size limit, at least you are getting them! :D Seems that the hali fishing has been slow as hell here. And I'm still waiting on my first lol :D

Thanks for sharing, keep em coming brother!! :D

Cool looking spot to fish, especially with the weather overhanging it all,  and any fish is better than no fish, hope to see some reports from next season when they growup.

that right there is a rare day for Cabrillo
afternoons are usually filled with a brutal wind!

They call it Hurricane Gulch for a reason

Good job on the butts
the big ones will come if you keep at it!

You got some action at least, db.  That's some nice looking water - pic 3 is the type of scene where the lightest paddle strokes allow you to glide across the slick - Good Times.   :smt001
