Just thought I'd throw this out there in case there's an interest.

I don't know a lot about it because I only bought it from my bro to help him out financially a couple years ago.  I put a back tire on it and rode it once, and my bro rode it a few months back for old times sake, and other than that it's been in indoor storage.

It's been ridden a lot, but has a bunch of upgrades, (handlebars, exhaust, etc)and I'm told 1k is a very good deal.

It's a 1997, the one with aluminum frame.

Sorry for the lack of pics and details, but I'd be glad to answer any specific questions and am open to offers.

It's in storage in Fremont, a block off 880.  I have the pink, and I think even have the current green sticker is around somewhere.

I thought it would be a good trail bike, but I have all but given up riding, and if I ever go riding again it will be mellow...  this bike is setup for motocross and a tad beastly for my mellow trail riding taste.

Make an offer, I gotta clear out my storage.

Man, I used to ride a ton back in my teens.  Good times!  I started on a Kawasaki KX80 and moved up to a Honda CR125 before eventually growing out of the sport.  I made a couple putt-arounds on a CR250 and it was eye opening. :smt103   My stepfather had a CR500. :cowboy_cool:

Yeah, that is a lot of bike if one's not careful and knowledgeable.  For the right person though, it's a steal!

Wish I could take it off your hands but there's no way.  Hopefully one of us takes it for you.  Hey Jim, are you out there?

Mike, my garage is single-car...  just enough room for the kayaks and fishing gear!

I will keep my ole trusty '84 Yamaha IT250, which is much better suited to trail riding with soft suspension and low gearing, and maybe the Trail90, if I can fit them...  but realistically my offroading days are over.

dilbeck, yes riding the CR after being used to the mellow IT was quite an experience...  like a horse that just wanted to GO!!!  and I was saying "whoa, Nellie, whoooah, easy girl!"

I think this is still available, as it seems Bloodbath is looking for a dual-sport or street bike, (please correct me if I'm wrong, Joe, you got dibs if you want).

Will get some pics and details here ASAP.
