I haven't done much fishing lately or even posting on this board while my wife and I where in the last few weeks of her pregnancy.  I saw that Bill recently kept a girl at 7 lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long (Congrats again Bill).  I guess I'm just wondering if there is a slot limit on keeping'em or maybe there was a pool I might be a leader on now for 2006, becuase my son Owen was born Jan 6th weighing in at 8 lbs 0oz and 22 in long.  Amy (my wife) and Owen are doing quite well.  It's only been about a week, and I'm wondering if I'll ever go fishing again, but I've been reassured that day will come.  Actually, right now I don't really miss fishing.  What am I saying?

Shoot, my wife's labor interrupted a fishing expedition, and I used one of the 'baby days' work gave me off to make it up.   :smt003  The only bummer is it's hard to find a sitter so that both of us can go fishing.  She came along about 80% of the time before the baby.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

What a keeper!

Glad everyone's healthy!

Don't worry, your desire to fish will soon return!

Congratulations Brian!!!!!!!!

The fishing will be here when you're ready, they grow up fast so spend as much time with him as you can! Oh and once he's able to tie his own shoes, teach him to tie his own fishing knots ... father/son fishing is sooo much better after they can tie their own knots.   :smt003
