One of the cleats that is used for a clip to hold the seat in place, came out of its socket. It really sucks, because its like having no seat at all. Wondering if anybody else has had this issue and what is the best way to fix it.

I assume you mean one of the seatback plug at the bottom of the seat broke.  If so you can order spare parts: #81265001 Seatback plug; #8031130 Screw; 8080541 Washer.  Or if its a 2010 seat; 81265101 Seatback Adjustable plug kit.

I would contact CCK, they carry plenty of Hobie parts. I broke the Rudder Pin on my Revo last Saturday. This connects the entire rudder to the boat and took it down to CCK.  I paid for the pin for $3.80 then J.T. put it in for free. He even adjusted the line control tension for my rudder at no charge.

not sure exactly what part you're talking about, but whatever it is they probably carry them at sunrise, which is only a few miles from your house. give them a call and they should be able to help you out. they are an authorized hobie dealer.

Sorry, been busy at school. The part isn't broke, or at least it doesn't look broke. It is one of the round cleat/clip do-hickie's that you clip your seat to. It appears to have just pulled out. You can push it back in, but it has no holding strength.

sounds like one of these screw in pad eyes

http://www.austinkayak.com/products/872/Hobie-Mirage-Screw-In-Pad-Eye.html

but if you can push it in and it doesn't screw in, something tells me it is a problem with the kayak, not the padeye.  they are supposed to screw in.
