Looks like we will have a good sized crew out there.  I hope the WSB are still cooperative mood.

I am not going to make it on saturday. I heard that the squid boats moved out and it really fell off. No fish caught today. If I was closer it would be cool but its about 4.5 for me. Going back to the Red Barn plan. Hope you guys do well. Craig.

I'm with Craig...It's 2.5 hrs for me - still a long haul. Tomorrow's reports will decide.
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

Not wanting to get run over by some of the idiot power boaters that have been out there on Saturday's. I think that if the fog is in, like it was today. I will wait to launch @ 7:30 or so. MBK

if the fog is in . you r definetly right kimo. i launched in my little aluminum boat to come across some boaters who didnt even have running lights before sunrise. real winners. be safe all and good luck. i left early to run out to the squid boats on monday.the squid boats i saw werent even dropping there nets and they talked as if was winding down. get um now while they r still scattered around! :smt007. bulldog

My fishing buddy PaddleFish aborted his trip at MBK yesterday, there were 3 people in his group.  The fog was thick and visibility was poor.  Too risky getting hit by a private boater.  They fished SWS and the water there was rough too.

I plan on to be out there. Today October 01 2010, today is exactly 1 year since i caught my first WSB off the kayak and i was hopping i could of gone out to brake my dry spell but work and other obstacles is keeping me on dry dock. I had a tough week and feel the need to go out and let the ocean and hope fully a white sea bass to calm the nerves. Hope to see you all tomorrow.

I might try to join you on Monday...that's if I'm not too tired from the Red Barn weekend.

Can't do Monday - have another Doc appointment.
