Lake Tahoe 9/19/2010 - Sharing the rail with Omar

Great report!!!  Them Mac's look huge!!!  But, i've never caught one before, so they may be average    Were you trolling for them?  Thought they were down deep and have to be jigged up.  I read a report recently that lots of kokes are being caught too!  We are planning a sort of end of Oct. Tahoe run with FM1 if your interested!

Alright Pacifico.  Way to bust it.  How'd do those macks cook up?  Never had one, they sure do look well fed

Finally had some today, to me it tasted kind of like a mild salmon.  The meat is red and slightly less oily/fatty than salmon.  The skin is different too...I don't eat the skin but I usually cook the fish with it on.  Pretty good stuff.

Wow... those are some nice fresh water lings there. I miss that place... Tahoe is special for sure.
