Quickie @ the Cape - 9/11/10

Not much going on this morning from 6:45 to 9:15 - wind was threatening to break loose any time - huge whitecaps outside.  Drifted herring and jigged some lead before soaking ab guts for the last 15 minutes inshore.  One dinker hotdog ling is all that chose to bite for me - Dom had some action too, but a slow morning in general.  Had to be back for kids' soccer games late morning, so maybe I can go again tomorrow.   

So, about that swim . . . no time for a shower before soccer, or???

I got bored, so I bailed over the side of the anchored X-Factor and tried to hand-paddle up to Domenic before he noticed me - probably good I didn't get too close as I would've likely forgotten about his SharkShield!

Janet and I were at Salt Pt Sat thru Mon, no seas and no wind to speak of, also, no yak, and no gear, just a quick getaway from the city,,,,,,but watching that ocean and staying high and dry for 3 days was painful.
