I have a hankerin for some fishing, was even thinking of getting a few slab Bluegill for the aoty and a fish fry from Spring Lake, Ive never been there, and its close, or L. Sonoma, or even if there interest, a R. River drift for whatever, might not even fish that, just look for points, its fun to fish tho, no bait or barbs or trebles makes it intresting. 415-578-8258

Ben, maybe Monday. Funny thing....I was born in Sonoma County and have never been on that lake. Hiked, hunted and cut fire wood (before the lake was filled caught major grief for that) but have not been out on the lake.....maybe it's time for an early morning visit.

Lotta blue gill in the Northeast corner of the lake. Tons of fun with an ultra-lite and some night crawlers.

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Is all salmon fishing in the Russian shut down? If not, you might want to try Moscow hole near Cassini Ranch.Enter the ranch grounds, pay them at the store for launching. Then head to the river. It's up from the beach launch about a quarter to half mile. You'll know when you're there. It's super deep, I think the deepest hole in the river. Anyway, we used to go in there and fly fish for salmon. I've had seven surface at one time, like dolphins. Have also caught , big, stripers there. And even was with one of my friends when he hooked and landed a sturgeon there. So it's a good place to look for action. And now is the time.
