Lake Mendo 9/4 - 9/5

Want to take Sara and Andy to visit good ol' Mendo this weekend!  Anyone else interested?  

    Trying to figure out the camping situation right now, but any tips would be greatly appreciated!  

           Also, whats the closest tackle shop to the lake?

The campsites are first come first serve. Best way to get a good site is to be there Friday morning.

When are you leaving?

Just called, say that since two campsites are out of commision and the main one is full, there is only the boat in option, which is first come first serve...  I guess we will see if we are up for that option, or choose another destination...

All camp sites are booked! ... Two areas are shut down! Does anyone have A connection?.... Dont want to boat in with the family on kayaks! Gonna save that for Del Valle.......

BEst NoReservation Campground - Ocean Cove. Thining about hitting it with a few friends but not sure on the ocean conditions yet.

I'm in either way (Mendo or Sonoma) - I need to get outside and play!

Finding a place to camp the Wednesday before Labor Day weekend is going to be tough.

That said, I'm jealous and hope to read a report on Tuesday.
