Congrats on a GREAT fish there Rey! I'm glad you got your fish bro. You deserve it. You're pretty lucky the fish didn't snap that hook in half though! Nice work by the crew too. (btw it was slow again today w/no fish for the NCKArs, pretty windy by 1)

Holy crap!!! Wtg Rey!!!!!!!! :D

I am soooooo happy for you my dear brother, as I know that it took a handful of attempts to finally land your first ghost, and a monster!!! I felt the excitement as if I was there with you!!!

I heard that the dfg volunteer stated that only 1 was caught that day, and so excited that it was you :)

Andy, awesome job on the swoop!! :)

Now it's time for our other NCKA brothers to land theirs!! :D

Anytime I'm with Andy or anyone of the **A-HULLS** is always party time.  Expect the unexpected when you are with Andy and Mikey.  Anyone have Daniel aka:DPSHIM cell number?  Wonder how they are doing right now??? Jim give him a call!! I want an update from our best intel right now.  Might go back there tmrw.

Rey, thanks for those kind compliments. I'm just passing info that I'm hearing on the waters. It's good to share that so everyone can decide and have the chance to catch one, as we both now know how it feels :) I really do want all to experience that!!

However, it's Sincoast who has the best intel when it comes to fishing here in Monterey (I'm always going to him for advice lol, thanx Pat!) and Ken who is the one to ask kindly for info on wsb. Ken's the ONE when it comes to wsb. Thank you sincerely for making our dreams come true!! :D

Fish of a lifetime!!! I think I actually started getting a little nervous watching that $30 rod bend in half, I don't know if I could have handled the pressure of gaffing that monster! Great work by everyone. Thanks for sharing it with all of us.

Andy, biggest sand dab I've ever laid my eyes on.  We know where the big ones are now and how deep.

Thanks Pat!  Sorry no wsb love for you and the others yesterday.  Yeah that hook could have bent some more if it took longer to bring it in.  Mooch told me it's probably because I have the drag a little too tight.  I had 85# braid and I wanted to bring that baby in quick.  Never thought the hook might be a weak point as hefty as it is.
