Hobie Sidekick Ama Outrigger Kit

 A few months ago I tried out a new Hobie Outback from Pro Sports Center.I then came across a used Outback for a good price. My first time out I almost rolled it twice. I didn't remember the Outback I tested being that unstable. Then I discovered that Hobie redesigned the hull around 2006 and mine is a 2004. Does anyone have any experience with the Hobie Outrigger Kit or any other outriggers? Do they get in the way when your fishing? How much do they slow you down?
