Hoping to go out somewhere on the SMC on Saturday.  If the WSB or halis turn on again, I will be launching out of HMB.  Otherwise, it will be dove, ekg or the bean.

I'm up in Healdsburg, but I might come down to fish if it looks good - let's talk this week.  FYI - I came down on Sunday and did a mini run on EKG solo without event - mostly to see if I could still get out on the water after the news.  I did start to think about not paddling so close to that big rock to the right when you launch, however, as I've seen seals use that as a haul-out periodically.

Update: what about Sunday instead of Saturday?

Mike,
I'm interested and will check back on Friday.  Needs to see about work this weekend.

Right now saturday looks better than sunday from a wx perspective, I was thinking of doing ekg or bean on saturday and maybe tomales or monterey in pursuit of wsb on sunday (more protected).  I would also be willing to do Fort Ross or somewhere else along the sonoma coast as a change of pace on saturday (which would be closer for mcag).

Okay, tomorrow looks a whole lot better than sunday from a wx perspective.  So I am currently leaning toward doing the EKG again at 7:00 AM, unless someone else has an alternative.  However, if I don't hear from anyone by 9:00 PM, I will probably join the crew going to tomales tomorrow looking for ghosts.

Michael,
FishingAddict and I are planning to try WSB in Monterey on Sunday morning if the swells are manageable. If not, we'll do RF in SWS. Let us know if you're interested.

Michael, I can probably do tomorrow morning if you are still in. Let me know where you are thinking.

Going back already?  Dammit, I'm tempted too but I might pick up an ax at home depot.

For those who are in, I will be waiting at the launch for the EKG at 7:00 AM Saturday morning.  This is a moderate surf launch, but based on the current reports, it shouldn't be too bad.  If the launch looks hairy, we can either move up or down the coast depending on the conditions.  No chances for WSB, but lings, rockfish, halibut and the occasional GWS :) are all possibilities .  PM me if you need details regarding the launch.

I'm quite tempted, however, I am currently looking at making the WSB attempt on Sunday given that the ocean conditions on saturday are looking better for open ocean fishing and I have a chance to go out twice this weekend.

Bink - I hate you!  Can't you wait for Sunday?  I am with family in the north bay, so I won't make EKG tomorrow.  It should be white hot.  PM me if you want to fish Sunday.
