I know that area, planing to stop when I came to the shelf of stucture that raises fast from 60feet deep to 40ft. real quickly.

In retrospect.....classic ambush point.

PS.....glad you're ok bro.

Well Adam, I guess that's one way to steal the thunder from the seabass catches...but it's kinda extreme don't you think?

& yeah, I was talking to Aaron about the bottom topography there, & I agree, it's a good cruising ambush zone that the fish can just swim next to, looking up...

That is the EXACT same spot I got the drive-by scope last year.

Adam, glad you are ok.  I kinda feel bad for not letting you have your way with my cabbie at Albion now!  I promise next year at albion, I will let you alone with my cabbie for a half hour, you deserved it man.  :smt006  :smt007

Wow, this sounds like an incredible experience man. I am stoked you're doing OK (physically&emotionally)!!
But I can't help but wonder if this is karma repaid. You've been building major karm by nobly releasing all those quality fish in that spot...way to cash_in.

I was fishing between Natural Bridges and Wilder last September. I remember it well. It was a good feeling to have bold black stripes painted on the bottom of the yak. That meant I could relax and just take  in the day.  No worries man. Yup. A good feeling, that.

Adam~
I have a yum yum yellow P15 you can use until yours is back in business.
The bottom is painted and everything.
It's all yours if you need a loaner. It's pretty much became an extra ever since I went to the dark side.
There it is Adam. The yum yum yellow...let's hope that my yum yum yellow x-factor is just as bitter to the landlord as yours was!
Adam, real talk you are one cool calm sailor bro'!  When I first heard you talking over Ty's radio I knew something was happened like man overboard however, not to that extreme. Had it happen to me I wouldnt have needed a radio because you would've been screaming like a b***h!!! Ty and I continued fishing awaiting word that whoever was in the water was ok. 20-30 min later I'm looking south towards your location and see a seal jump clear out the water heading north. I said to Ty "seals coming I'm putting my fish back in the boat. 5 mins later I heard you said over Ty's radio you guys should come in now...?? Huh...."GWS!" did he say "great white shark??"
All that being said I'm glad that you and the rest of us all, made it off the water safety. Let me know when the slayers are reAdy to go back out.
Oh yeah, getting my radio this week lol.
