I generally set-up a folding table in the driveway when its time to clean fish.  It isn't the best but it generally works.  It does however make a mess out of the driveway, and if its dark I can't see what the heck I'm doing.  I have been wanting to build a fish cleaning table with a sink etc. on the fisde of my house, but I haven't had the time.  Since I was home on vacation this week I thought I'd finally get to it...but I cheated!

I was surfing craigslist and found what I really wanted, for a total bargain.  A nice vietnamese lady was selling a sink from her restaurant in Fairfield.  She was so nice we even had food at her place...YUM.

I screwed the backsplash to the studs, and adjusted the feet firmly into the wood...this thing is solid.  It will just drain to 5 gallon buckets under the sink that will be used to fertilize the veggies. Installed a 250 watt halogen light above it so I can see what I'm doing no matter how late it is.  Can't wait to clean a fish!!!

HUGE SCORE!!!!!   :hello2:

I wish I had room for something like that.  I use the underside of a boogie board on the tailgate of my pickup.  I'm definitely jealous!

Any time I have a load of fish to clean, I'm just going to go over to Sean's house.   :smt003

Been there...I used to use one of my ice chests. Getting old made crouching over the chest a no-go.  Switched to a folding table but the driveway is sloped enough that the fish are always sliding off... :smt013  Its also not strong enough for pounding abs.  This bad boy is industrial beef for a $100.  I couldn't even buy a junky partical board counter top at home cheapo.  We even made a day out of the pick-up.  Took the kiddles to the Jelly-belly factory. Sugar city!!!

Way to go, Sean!  We're stopping at your place to clean fish from now on.

I also am in the habit of fertilizing the vegetable garden but for a different reason.  Our veggie garden has a fence to keep the dog out.  Our dog loves to roll in the fish stink...  only took once for me to wise up!

Seann..
That's a hugeeeeee score.  I purchased a sink like that, except only a one sided sink  and it was $500 brand new.

Jzumi-you and your family are always welcome.  Actually a stop by bigeyedave's was the straw that broke the camels back.  He has a nice little table with lighting out behind his garage...I had to have one.  I am really stoked to finally have a nice work area.

jdyak-thanks.  I didn't know what they cost, but I knew what I spent on the dinky ss sink in my kitchen, I figured it was a bargain.  I thought about pluming but my wife is already concerned about how excited I am to have an outside sink.

Cha-Ching!  You have just scored!
I need one of those.  For $100 bucks, you can't beat that.
