If Karen does make it happen, and the herd isn't crowding the doors impatiently (like WalMart on the day after Turkey Day), I could pick them up either:

1. at Xmas

2. Turkey day weekend

or

3. shortly after I lose my job in a couple of weeks and retire...and practice for my long road trip. (Yes...I'm serious about No. 3)

Of course, I would hit a couple of buffets like Hokkaido  :fat (that one offers more food than the one in San Mateo) down there before heading back.

Would save the cost of shipping...

Yes I believe it is.  I saw one last month.

Also reccomended is an additional neoprene weather strip to adjunct the gasket.

Allen

Allen -

Can you give more details/pics on the weather strip mod? I have been thinking of doing this because my rod pod leaks quite a bit.

Hi Guys,

The Trident Mod Pod will fit any of the Trident Models, even if it's an older version - per my Johnson Outdoor Rep.

Here is a write up I found about it - http://www.oceankayak.com/news/press_releases/OK_FishingPod.pdf

I'm posting two pictures I took at the Moyer Tournament.

I can give you guys a good price, but I don't want it "advertised" on the site.  Can you send me an e-mail if you're interested and I'll send you the price.  Or PM me.  As soon as I get the total wanted, I'll place my order.

Thanks !!!

I just picked one up local. It looks to be the new hot ticket. The only drawback so far is that the tray that rests on the opening lip will not work with the new cover. I kept my battery there for the FF. So I now have to figure another battery location. There will be enough room to still deal with fish of the flat kind( my Fav) on the deck with the rod holders in place.

Thanks, Scott. At my current rate of fishing ventures, I really meant it when I said no hurry.  :smt005
