This weekend had a forecast of big swell too and we ended up having epic conditions because of the high pressure. If the high pressure system holds up it will keep the wind down enough to catch something, hopefully.

The link show 8 ft  at 14 seconds, which is an outer buoy reading. There should be a cove somewhere to tuck into. Good ol Fort Ross!

As long as the wind stays down, and it's not a mixed swell, then 8ft at 14 seconds sounds awesome to me. Bigger swells just mean you don't have to work as hard jigging your bait!

Meet the check-in guy, Lorenzo! He is appointed by me to collect money. No one else. If you are showing up and joining the tourney last minute, cash will be the best option. Thank You.
Do not look for me at 6 am, Lorenzo will be there. Lorenzo will be collecting fees, making sure waivers are signed, and handing out wristbands for the tourney.

Wristbands will be the identifying factor that shows that you are registered. This will also be what needs to be in any picture if you are practicing catch and release. Everyone must check in!

If you want to pick up your wristband on Friday, please pass by the barn and Lorenzo will gladly check you on the list and give you a wristband. Lorenzo and Alan (property caretaker) will also be the judges and measuring your catch! Please bring your hawg trough with you to the measure-ins to make sure we have more than one. Remember that it is a total accumulation of size for a lingcod, rockfish, and cabezon. Good luck.

Thank you for all of your patience guys, all the details should be pretty clear by now. If you have any questions please call Joe at (408) 891-0980

Things are starting to look up for this weekend.  The latest report from the nat'l weather service calls for 5-15 winds and 5'-7' seas.
