FIRST ANNUAL RED BARN CLASSIC
   SATURDAY OCTOBER 2, 2010

This is an MBF tourney.
$30 entry fee.
$5 deducted from each entry to cover costs so $25 of each entry goes towards the pot.
1st place=60%
2nd place=30%
3rd place=10%
The more that enter the bigger the payout!
Starts at 6AM.  Fish must be checked in by 1:30 PM.
Some know it as the Pedotti Ranch, others as Red Barn, yet others as the Red Barn painted white.
On January 27, 2005 it was hit by a rare California tornado. "The Barn" is no longer standing but we still refer to it as Red Barn or
The Barn.

This is what you will see as you approach.

The rough looking area is where The Barn used to be. The ‘house’ on top of the hill is the check-in spot; directions to follow.  All fish will be measured and photos judged there.

This is just one of many amenities The Barn has to offer.
Can you guess which NCKA member took the photo??

To get an idea of this prime location, The Barn is:
.31 miles to Reef Campground
1.84 miles to Ft. Ross
5.66 miles to Stillwater North
6.5 Miles to Ocean Cove
8.3 Miles to Salt Point

There will be porta potties available (your $5 at work).
You may camp there the night before…recommended if you like to have fun.
There will be 15-20 campsites available, $20/night, pm  bloodbath to get on the list.
There is also a group firepit, all wood will be provided
Award ceremonies (payout) and potluck after tourney.
Oh yea, we will be a roasting a wild pig. ($5 at work AGAIN)
Check-In begins at 6AM ends at 8AM at The Barn. EVERYONE must check in. You will receive your entry sticker, sign waiver forms and pay if you didn’t do it in advance.
The format is total length of the following 3 fish; Lingcod, Cabezon, and Rockfish. One fish each may be entered.
You can Catch & Release if you want, you will have to submit a photo, or just bring in your fish.  The photograph must be submitted before the end of the tournament. The photo rules for AOTY apply. The entry sticker MUST appear in the photo for the photo to be accepted. There will be a laptop available with an SD card reader. Judges decisions are final.
Bloodbath and Alan, long time NCKA friend but non-member and host of the event, will be judging.
So the question is…ARE YOU DOWN?????

I have attached the waiver and release of liability and registration forms.

Please send all forms and make checks payable to:

Joe Flores
101 E. San Fernando St. 426
San Jose, CA 95112

Deadline for payment and registration will be Sept 19, 2010. If any later than this, please contact me.

If you have any questions please call Joe @ (408) 891-0980

In. Need a campsite too. 30 bucks includes a Luau is a great deal  :smt003

Hey dude, the design is great, but all that intricate thin lines will give the silkscreen trouble, I think. Black shirt with that design would work well too. Anyway, my buddy will be back to the states in two weeks. I'll confirm with him regarding the design.

I do not want to deal with fees for paypal. I think it would be better to send checks or money orders.

Just one quick question,

Where is the launch?

I dove there once a long time ago and ocean access was not kayak friendly.
