Depending on what the weather looks like in the morning I might try to get a 10lb limit of trout =) .

Not too early, maybe on the lake around 9. If anyone tries to join, try my cell first to make sure i went.

Brian,
Did you go?  I heard the lake has turned over.  True?  I'd love to go to Melones as I've heard lots about it.   I know it's a pretty big lake, and never having fished there I'd like to go with someone who can show me the ropes as to where and how to fish the lake.  If you end up going sometime next week, let me know and I just might join you.

Hi jmairey,

If you looking for trout go to Melonies,  Pedro is an ok lake, I've caught nice trout there too, but not
the same quality of Melonies.  It's just my personal opinion, but Melonies is a better overall lake. If your staying
for the day its a no charge lake, and you can launch at spots other than the boat launch. The list goes on.....

Since I'm on vacation I'm planning to go to Malonies Monday, weather permitting.

I'll be launching at Angels cove, Monday morning around 6:30-7:00am, Company is welcomed
I'm looking forward to meeting other Kayak fishermen

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I ended up not going. The holiday joy is in full swing and everyone is stressed out. Hope the weather holds for you on Monday.

Hi John,

I'm going to head out tomorrow rain or shine, if the weather is too bad, I'll fish Tuttle Town off the bank
put a bell on the pole's and take a nap in the truck.  :smt015  I'm on vacation, I'll paint the patio next year

I've got no W.A.F to worry about :smt023  And the Kids are grown.  :headbang:

As far as fishing in bad weather the bite does slow down, but there have been days it didn't seem to mater.

I grew up on the east coast playing golf and being a lifeguard. I have a healthy respect for
lightning,  :smt010.   it's sunny here now tho. probably because you stayed home,  :smt003.

well, I got work to do all this week,  :smt009
