This is Ana's TENTH endurance event with Team in Training!!

She is VERY passionate about doing what she can to raise $$ to help find a cure for blood related Cancers!! The cool thing is that research into blood cancers carries over into the search for a cure for ALL cancers!!

If you have been thinking about how to give to a larger organization that fights Cancer and tries to support those that are fighting it, I think this is a great way to do it!!

Ana will be running the Half Marathon, and I will be running the Full Marathon with my two buddies Miguel and Juan. All of us will be doing it in Honor of Mooch and will carry his name, spirit and energy with us along the 26.2 mile course. Miguel, Juan and I are just doing it on our own, while Ana will be doing it with Team in Training. Hope to see some NCKA faces cheering us along and/or having a beer with us at the finish line!!!

Dear Friends, and Family

Every year I have made a personal commitment to raise money for the Leukemia, and Lymphoma Society, by participating in an endurance event. On October  17, 2010 I will be completing the Nike Women's Half Marathon for the third consecutive time.

Some might wonder why I keep putting myself through this, and the answer is as simple as the battle with cancer has not been won...YET!!

As a participant in their Team In Training program, I truly feel that I'm contibuting to help find a cure for cancer, and I'm asking you to help by making a donation to my fundraising campaign.

You would be able to get around easily and see us at various points on the course!!

That is the hardest part about watching/cheering for somebody in a Marathon...getting to a spot in time to watch them go by, and then figuring out where to go next!!
