ok, so somehow i got some squid juice spilled on some fabric in the house....

It now smells like there's a dead seal or something in the house.... Smell of death...

How the hell do I remove the smell?

I use pure vanilla extract on my hands and counter tops when I'm done cleaning tuna and baracuda.
It really removes the smell quick.
I have even used it inside the hull of my kayak when I have found a old wayward fish part.
Hopefully your couch is not white because it may stain.
Good luck!

Try coffee powder.  It might not get rid all the smell but it'll definitely help.

Maybe try a product called Nature's Miracle, which should be available at your local pet store. Will work on most biologocal stuff, I think it uses enzymes to break down protein in stains. Worked well for me when I spilled milk on my cars carpet.

Good luck!
Always willing to join others in the Monterey/Santa Cruz/Half Moon Bay area for a bit of fishing...feel free to contact me.

Tallpaul beat me to it Brent.

head over to PetPals and get some of that stuff. It does NOT work right away, it need time to break down the enzymes , like a few days. But shit by then you'll be used to the smell.. Like walking into a  cat ladys hosue that has 20 cats and full cat boxes everywhere. She don't smell nuthin wrong.

Porky's squid house!!
