I had an ipod for a couple of years and now I have permanent tinnitus.    Im sure that the ipod was not what did most of the damage.. playing in rock bands for 20 years took care of that im pretty sure, but I never had the tinnitus before I had the ipod.    Now its constant ringing... I wonder if I had it up too loud..
