Mine had two eyes blow up for no apparent reason, and the stupid little plug on the butt end fell out about 2 days after i got it.

they're great rods if you have no issues with the eyes failing....

Mine is in for warranty for the eyes right now.

I had 4 fall out at shelter cove for the opener.

I have warrantied 2 for black ab and they always take care of warranties fairly fast.

You brute, you. Any way the new baidarkas dont have inserts in the eyes anymore. Jim's brand new trevala had an insert come out at GS4. Those models are probabaly heavily discounted because of the problems but still warrantied. So i think what is for sale here, according to the specs the young man provided, is the newer model with the upgraded eyes. They list for 119.00 at most tackle shops
