I've been sorta fixated on these things since I saw one at the dealer last week:

Doesn't appear to be room for a bed, but still these things look pretty cool.  There's more cargo space than an Excursion.  21k new.

Did the sales reps swarm you when you were there? Fremont Ford has to be the worst.

Howard-  No, it was a commercial truck dealership.  One gentleman did manage to sneak up on me as I was peeping in the window, but he backed off once I broke into the Gomer Pyle routine.

Mooch- I wish I had that kinda cash!  I'm gonna have to roll my own, like they do down in Salinas, eh.

You may be better off with a mini van. You can fold all the seats and you have lots of cargo space. Just my .02.

Adam-  I agree, too small for me to camp in, but it has double to cargo space of a CR-V, (73ft vs. 135ft).  Would be ideal for my job, tho, and as a yak hauler.

Andy-  I love ya, bro, and your van too!!  I will have one, (to nap in) sooner or later.

funny you should mention the shortbus....my dad owns one that does not get any use.  We made a roadie to the Fontana nascar race in it a while back, everyone loved it.

Sweet, I was actually looking at them on Cragslist,  I can get the bus, just don't have the funds to trick it out all 4x4 and stuff.
