I decided not to go up to the property this weekend and spend some time here with the wife. Thinking about getting some water time in. Thinking about ARW or maybe Chabot. Anybody else going to be on the water close to Oakland?

I'll be at Paradise on Sunday or Monday.

Excellent hali tides this weekend.

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

The hali tides are great for sure. If the ocean is blown out I will be at ARW on Monday. Paradise has just stunk so far this year. Not really sure WTH is going on.

YES YES YES. I've been very excited about the tides this weekend. Sunday's a great tide, and the Wx forecast claims the wind should be little or none.

I'm planning on fishing ARW all day - basically until I catch a fish or the sun starts to go down, which ever comes first.

TIME TO MAKE BAIT!

Ravensblack: If you're at the wall on Monday, I'll see you there.

I just tried to make smelt bait to no avail. Everyone was pinky sized. The bigger ones seem to come out at night. Where are the guys with the throw net skills when you need them?

I'm going to attempt some evening shiner acquisitions tonight - I'll PM you if I get enough to kick some down maybe save you the trip to Mikes. The estuary has been taken over by smallies of those however also - the live young have been squirting out over the last weeks. I wonder what Mom does after excreting 1/3 of her body weight(?).

I have a tendency to kill the bite wherever I go, so hope you don't see me  :smt003

ARW for me for sure Monday am early. With this tide and the influx of sardines into the bay it could be  frickin epic day. All the conditions are pointing that way. BShadee if you need shiners Pm me. Sunday. I will cover your bait bro.
